The Powers of Raitan Graphic Novel

"The Powers of Raitan" could be pitched as Hogwarts meets Wakanda with a splash of political thriller and mystery.

Three ordinary people from earth, while chasing a paranormal phenomena known as the "Shaw Shimmer," find themselves transported to another realm by three rogue sorcerers who are escaping their own dimension.







The sorcerers use the mass of the three earth people to close the portal to their dimension, leaving the earthers stuck on the planet Dhunia in the country of Irelia, ruled by an elite group of Black Sorcerers.




 

The King of Irelia arranges for the earth people to join a reality tv show aimed at raising funds for building a machine that will return the earthers back home and for building good PR for his kingdom, his daughter Princess Tangica, and his prodigal son, Prince Raitan, who ran away at 15 to join a band of mercenaries, and, to the King's dismay, knows nothing of magic and sorcery.





However, as the reality show prepares for production, Prince Raitan has to survive several attempts on his life--a powerful, dark sorcerer has put a hit out on Raitan because the Prince holds a world changing secret--a secret unknown to the Prince Raitan which threatens the fabric of magic itself.
